OUR PROCESS
01 INITIAL CONSULTATION
Initial consultation, advice on the process of design and pathways to gaining approval, collaboratively developing a detailed brief which encompasses the whole scope of “must haves” and inclusions, discussions about style and aesthetics. Explore opportunities and constraints of the site and the existing home if you plan to renovate, discuss the budget, timeframes for approval and construction methods and materials.
02 CONCEPT DESIGN
Concept design to sketch out ideas and start to bring your ideas to life. Collaboratively work through options and refine the brief. I am available to meet and discuss to ensure you fully understand the vision and the driving factors behind the decision making process.
03 APPROVALS
Documentation of the project for either Council or Private Certifier assessment and provide plans for builders to quote on. Assistance with the certifying authorities and liaison throughout the process, keeping you informed and taking the worry out of the process.
04 ASSISTANCE DURING CONSTRUCTION
I’m available to assist throughout the construction process as much as you like, whether you need assistance with detailed interior layouts such as lighting or wet areas set outs, materials selections or even just to bounce ideas off. I can point you in the direction of quality local suppliers and trades or help with creative ideas on site. I’m flexible and approachable so just ask.
